AVMRA

Hello and welcome. What does AVMRA stand for? AVMRA is an abbreviation for our motorcycle organization, not to be confused with a motorcycle club. AVMRA is short for the American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association. We are the only veterans organization that allows non-veterans to join. While you are browsing this site, check out our "NEWS" selection. Here you will find a full list of our events, current and up-to-date. Under the "NEWS" selection you will also find our monthly newsletter at the end of the dates of events. This is the more current, update and informative information that will help you along in what is going on. Any questions? Ideas? Thoughts? Just click on the "EMAIL" selection and talk to us. We would love your feedback.

About

What do we do? We help Veterans and families of Veterans in need. We also help people of special needs. We ride for a cause. We have several chapters in NW Indiana and Brookfield, IL. We meet in Hammond every first Monday of the month, 7:00 pm at the VFW Post 7881, located at 6831 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN. You are welcome to come and visit us at one of our meetings. We also have our own Honor Guard and Rifle team inwhich we provide services for military funerals, processions and escorts. You don't even have to be a member to help out, just come to our events, support our cause, without the help from you, the general public, our sponsors and our active members, we could not accomplish all that we have done so far.
